LINOCUT, WOODCUT, & WOOD ENGRAVING

The Land and Those Who Roam or Glide Above

Carving is a line language as unique to the artist as their drawing style or brush work. From a block of wood or sheet of linoleum, slowly the image reveals itself as the empty spaces are carved away. Once the intricate patterns and textures weave together to create the composition, the ink is rolled across and printed on handmade paper, collage, or chine collé. Each print is a signed, numbered, limited series.
