Arrival Airport: Aéroport de Nice (NCE) – Nice, France

  • Destination airport transport personally provided by Alyssa

  • Alyssa can help with flight arrangements and traveling as a group if you desire

  • Vermont Friends: Montreal is a wonderful airport to fly to and from France with very reasonable flights ($650-850 round trip)

Highlights of Our 7 Days:

  • Exploring and enjoying our home away from home at the Villa Marguerite within the grounds of the Château de Napoule in Mendelieu de Napoule, France

  • Visit Nice and explore the old town for lunch, sightseeing, and option to see the Matisse or Chagall Museums

  • Visit the Medieval hilltown of Saint Paul de Vence with its winding streets filled with wine caves, cafés, galleries, and shops

  • Visit the small village of Biot famous for its hand-blown glass, charming streets, and town square

  • Visit the pastel painted fishing village of Villefranche-Sur-Mer, considered the “most colorful” town in the South of France and a perfect place to explore with sketchbook, watercolors, or camera!

  • Take a scenic ferry excursion off the coast from either Cannes or St. Tropez to experience the Mediterranean first hand with possible paddleboard, snorkel, and beach time. (Not a water person? Don’t worry, a hiking option is also available to see the sea from high above!)

  • Learn how to use your sketchbook to “capture the moment” through drawing, paint, and words. Create a precious memory book to which no series of photographs can equate! Enjoy group artmaking events where we wine, dine, and create together through paint, collage, and finding our creative voice in our appointed château studio space.

  • Most of all, we will enjoy, savor, and relax in this beautiful place with an amazing group of women to connect and share the experience!
