Art Time Travelers!

Take a trip around the world and throughout art history as we 'time travel' to a different era and location each day, from the cave paintings of the Stone Age to the abstract expressions of the 20th century. Together we will solve art mystery challenges, learn about different cultures and art forms, and create paintings, drawings, and sculptures inspired by art and artists from around the world and across time! Art Time Travelers is perfect for children who love art, history, mysteries and adventure! Join us Friday afternoon from 4-5pm for a final exhibition of our work at the studio!

Meet the Impressionists!

Put on your beret and grab your palette as we explore the colorful and beautiful world of Impressionism! Meet the famous French and American Impressionist painters like Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, Bertha Morisot, Paul Cezanne and more as we set up our easels and draw, paint, and collage our way through the week! Join us Friday afternoon for a final exhibition of our work from 3:30 – 4:30pm at the studio!

Exploring the Natural World through ART!

Make art work about nature, in nature, and with elements of the natural world as we draw, paint, print, and weave with all of the beauty that the Vermont summer landscape has to offer and learn about artists that were inspired by the natural world! We will keep nature sketchbooks, make botanical and landscape paintings, create gelli prints with plants, make nature weavings, and install outdoor environmental sculptures with found objects!

Grades 4 and up (limited to 8 students)

The wonderful world of Abstract ART!

Splatter, layer, build, and splash your way through the world of contemporary art! Work big, messy, and experimental as we learn about the artist of the 20th century that rocked the art world with bold colors, splashes of paint, and art for the sake of ART! We will work in the studio and expand outdoors in our explorations! Warning: this will be loose messy and LOADS OF FUN!

Join us Friday afternoon from 4-5pm for a final exhibition of our work at the studio!
